Ladies and gentlemen, the Watchmenparody cover to issue #499, which hits stands on Tuesday, February 24th 2009. The cover features MAD mascot Alfred E. Neuman dressed as Rorschach.
I like how they changed the classic tagline from “Who Watches the Watchmen” to “Who Wants to Watch Watchmen?”
This isn't the first time the “usual gang of idiots” over at MAD magazine have lampooned Watchmen. An eight issue parody of the revered comic series titled “Botchmen” appeared in a giveaway magazine produced for the San Diego Comic-Com last July.
