Plot twist, this time it's the The Predator that wants his kids back.

Shane Black is a huge draw. I was pleasently surprised by Predators as well, thought it was gonna be a disaster... but no, it was kind of great.

A Shane Black movie that takes place on Halloween? What new spore of madness is this?!

Getting him to make this movie is absolutely a huge draw. The man has a fantastic knack for blending action with comedy, and that's going to do this movie all kinds of favors. The trailer alone is proof of that. I'm really excited to see what comes next.

I really expected it to be another Christmas joint. Predators in snow has been criminally underused, historically speaking.

Can't really imagine predators and comedy going together, but maybe Black will surprise us !

Well, he was the one cracking pussy jokes in the first movie.
And Bill Paxton had some laughs in the second.
Topher Grace had a great gag or two in Predators.

It's not without precedent that there be funny moments in Predator movies.

They always seemed more unintentional though. It doesn't matter really, the concept itself has always been rather crazy, so it does leave itself open to be comedic.

Also, this franchise really got me back on board after the previous "Predator VS Predator" battle in the last movie.
