So Robert Rodriguez is (finallly!) getting to work on that Sin City sequel, which is awesome since Sin City is one of my favorite comic book adaptations.

Production is apparently going to start this summer.

I read this as Sim City, which needless to say, confused me and intrigued me in equal measure.

Well, if this is like the first one... they'll do multiple stories

For the sequel it's A Dame to Kill for, and a new story written by Miller detailing what happens to Jessica Alba's character.

Hell and Back was always going to be a film of its own considering how long it is.

After The Hard Goodbye, THE BEST Sin City story is A Dame To Kill For.

Hell and Back doesn't even touch that.

My favorite is That Yellow Bastard, followed by The Hard Goodbye and then A Dame to Kill For.

Hell and Back is alright.

I can clearly see why you'd think Yellow Bastard is up there

Though it is a fantastic story still, can't say the same for Hell and Back.

Agreed. Those two are certainly the strongest of the Sin City stories.

Though Yellow Bastard is pretty awesome as well.

Those are my faves too.

I can't wait for this one as i'm glad Rodriguez is cutting out the Spy Kids stuff and going back to Sin City territory.

They've been going forward with it for some time, bro. From what I understand, they've been shooting the film in quick bursts as the actors find windows in their schedules.

This seems to pretty much be the cast:

Jessica Alba as Nancy Callahan
Powers Boothe as Senator Roark
Josh Brolin as Dwight McCarthy (pre-facial reconstruction)
Jamie Chung as Miho
Rosario Dawson as Gail
Julia Garner as Marcy
Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Johnny
Eva Green as Ava Lord
Dennis Haysbert as Manute
Stacy Keach as Wallenquist
Jaime King as Goldie and Wendy
Ray Liotta as Joey
Christopher Meloni as Mort
Crystal McCahill
Clive Owen as Dwight McCarthy (post-facial reconstruction)
Jeremy Piven as Bob
Mickey Rourke as Marv
Juno Temple as Sally
Bruce Willis as John Hartigan

I think the only one missing is Brittany Murphy (rip).
