To anyone of you who'd like to know, it looks like we'll finally get to see Gambit and Deadpool on the big screen. . .in Wolverine's origin movie. :| Personally, i'd like to see Gambit in an X-Men movie seducing Rogue. Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights) is set to play the role of Gambit. I'm not too comfortable with the casting choice because he seems to be a little too young. I hope he doesn't butcher the accent.

For Deadpool, it seems Ryan Reynolds was cast. . .good casting!

Thrilled to see Ryan Reynolds play Deadpool. It's a great character and it fits Reynolds' sensibilities nicely.

Gambit... I just don't know enough about. I'm glad that they didn't try to shove Gambit into the over-stuffed and Godawful X3, but I know that he's a fan favorite and it's great that Marvel is delivering. Still, I don't know anything about young Taylor Kitsch, so I'll reserve my judgment.

All in all, it definitely feels like Marvel is trying to posture itself for big things in the way of movies. You know, kinda like what WB tried and failed to do with Justice League.
