No, but if Steve Trevor stands in the way of Batman/Wonder Woman, he has to die.

Batman/Wonder Woman is pretty great, they play up the relationship in a few episodes of the Justice League cartoon and it was always fun.

Provides a lot of background and context for Morrison's run as well as a kooky and fun read in its own right.

Triple post because Alan Moore.

This was pretty awesome. Read it if you want some more Alan Moore material to gobble down.

A pretty good series dealing with the outcomes of War of Kings, and Abnett and Lanning nail the Game of Thrones esque political intrigue that made The Jenkins/Lee mini so good.

Batman Demon Trilogy

Image

Man, that was awesome. Especially Birth of the Demon itself. The art kind of reminded me of Arkham Asylum's and I really enjoyed reading Ra's' dark origins.

Edit: JLA: Earth 2

Image

That was a pretty cool and crazy story. I'll be sure to watch the movie sometime.

Hawkman Omnibus by Geoff Johns

Image

All in all, it was pretty cool. Especially the Black Reign storyline. And Geoff Johns really takes the confusing history and continuity of the character and makes them work to his advantage.

Can't go wrong with that combo.

And the movie is pretty good, albeit........."radically".........different.

I finally read Paul Dini's run on Detective Comics.

It was pretty great, like Batman: The Animated Series continued in comic book form and culminating in one big story arc.

Some of the best noir comics I've ever read.

Batman: Absolution

A good story demonstrating Batman's unwillingness to relent as well as his dark view points concerning humanity and life in general.

The Filth by Grant Morrison

Image

Bizarre and crazy and great. Highly recommended if you like Morrison.

Pretty enjoyable, not great, but it's always nice seeing Miller write Batman and MacFarlane draws some pretty pictures

The phrase "I have the weirdest boner right now".

It applies to this crossover......................sort of.

It's worth a read, I've never read any Spawn before this, but I want to now.

One of Morrison's more normal works, it's basically a fun adventure story that, like a lot of his stuff, explores the nature between reality and fiction.

I have the first ten issues on my hard drive as we speak, though, don't worry... I'll rectify this problem shortly.

So I know Brooklyn's gonna hate me for not reading GotG first, but I started reading Seven Soldiers of Victory

Image

I'm seven issues in (ironically) and it's really really good so far. Reminds me of 52 a little, which is never a bad thing.
