I've heard about this, I would like to read some of the issues eventually, since I loved Preacher and his run on Punisher (Both Knights and MAX line).

Could you give me a basic jist of what its like?

It's sort of like if Watchmen was taken to the extreme with the immorality of superheroes, and then there was a group of straight-up badasses that was created just to keep them in line.

It's a lot of fun. This new crop of young British writers grew up on 2000AD and Dan Dare, science fiction kind of stories. They had little to no knowledge of superheroes, and their takes on the genre are usually pretty interesting, especially Garth Ennis and Warren Ellis. I recommend them, for what that's worth.

And Simon Pegg.

And Simon Pegg.

So I guess if they ever make a film adaptation (which they will eventually). Simon Pegg has to be in this right?

I follow Pegg on Twitter, I will give him a tweet.
I have seen this around and considered picking it up for quite some time. Not too expensive, and given that the consensus here seems to be that it is good, I will have to give it a look.

Am I the only one who thinks that Tek-Knight fucking an asteroid to save earth was one of the best "save the earth" moments in fiction?

I have read through Vol. 1 and am halfway through 2 and I'm going to catch myself up and start getting it as it comes out. I really like it.

Does any one know if egg is being sought to play Wee' Hughie?

It makes sense in context.

No, seriously.

So, I know this thread is about the comics but does any one have a dream cast? Beyond Pegg?

What about Gerard Butler as Butcher?

I think he'd be good at it.

So I have
Butcher: Gerard Butler
Wee Hughie: Simon Pegg
The Female: Yeah... I'm having trouble with this one
The Frenchman: Jackie Earle Haley (Not sure why, but I think he'd do pretty good with this character)
Mother's Milk: Dennis Haysbert (You Americans know him as the Allstate guy)
