Woah, this really sucks.
This isn't a forum, it's an operating table.
And I'm the surgeon

(In DKR yellow)

Fix'd !

I love Frank Miller so much that I feel that I have a duty to "tell him" when he does sub-par work, ASBnR is incredibly underwhelming, considering what Frank Miller has done in the past, the man is a fucking beast, he can do better.

So yeah, I'm putting these here. They're two preview images of the Year One animated film that's coming out in a little bit.

I hate Ronin, DKSA and much of sin city isn't very good. I'm hardly a Miller fanboy, I just like a popcorn comic every now and then.

I've always thought that PERHAPS it could be much better if one read it all in TPB, but at the amazingly slow pace the plot moves I don't think it's going to come out soon.

Feli, you do realize that you can't say that every single time you haven't got anything to say right ?
I read all of Sin City when I was younger, and reading it again now, I gotta say that it doesn't hold up very well. It's almost like there's more sound effects than dialogue. I mean, really Miller, I don't need a visualisation of every raindrop's splatter or the noise every single door makes.

Of Miller I've only read DKR, DKSA, Year One and ASBnR, so not enough to be considered a fanboy. Got bored of DKSA and never finished it, genuinely was entertained by ASBnR, and I want more.

Don't exactly remember that, will have to revisit it again, what I find curious about Miller in Sin City is his depiction of women, he doesn't (estethically) make a difference between girls and women, little girls are more like tiny women than children, sometimes it's hilarious.
