Much as I'll be happy to buy these, I hope they don't ruin the value of my 1980's era Grenadier metal miniatures box set (which I've since painted up very spiffy).

But um, 25 characters? who other than the Crimebusters and the Minute men would be in there?

Rorschach
Nite Owl II
Silk Spectre II
Dr. Manhattan
Ozymandias
The Comedian (I'm guessing there will be pre-gimp/post-gimp)

Hmm, would Captain Metropolis be part of the Minutemen or Crimebusters?

Captain Metropolis
Nite Owl
Silk Spectre
The Comedian
Hooded Justice
Silhouette
Mothman
Dollar Bill

That's fifteen, including variants of Comedian, if not then it's 14... But there are still 10/11 missing... guesses:

Big Figure
Moloch
Captain Axis
the space guy
the mobster guy
Archie?
Rorschach unmasked?
Nite Owl II snow variant?
K.T.s
... police?

That's another ten, but those are just guesses of course.

PLenty of others to include!

Underboss
Captain Carnage
The Twilight Lady
Happy Harry
The Squid

Bar Patron # 5

My local comic shop just ordered me a collectors set. Has anyone else placed their order yet? Have any pictures of the set surfaced? Maybe from the Previews catalog? I'm looking forward to some new Watchmen merch to blow my money on.

:UPDATE:
Found a picture.

I would definitely get these if I were filthy stinking rich.

Of course, I would also get a swimming pool the size of a football field filled to the brim with unicorns so take that for what it's worth.

And they would have little horn protectors so they wouldn't accidentally hurt each other.

...Don't think I haven't thought this through.

Thanks for the link!
Really nice package design. I'm glad that they've found (it seems) a good way to balance the powers. I'd kill for a little Big Figure figure. Only thing I'm not sure about is this "duo" thing...

Well they certainly didn't fight together.

The set sounds pretty exciting. If it gets good reviews from Clix fans, and is properly playable on its own, I might just scrape the money together to get it.

$100 RRP, though it looks like it might retail for $70/$80...

well, apart from ozy none of them look very different from page to screen does it really matter that much?

personally i think they are cool, but i'm really not interested in that kind of game, maybe if i'd ever been into D&D or WH/40K but i never was.

The real title is Sea Bear and Grizzly Shark, I know the guy who wrote and drew the Sea Bear part.

Here's a link to a picture with the box open and all the figures on display.

Enjoy. Looks pretty cool. Not as cheap-looking as I thought it would be.

Can anyone name the figure to the right of Bubastis in the blue flames? I'm lost.

Hmmm... to me it looks like Osterman in the chamber getting vaporized.
Isn't that the watch on the stand next to him?

Yes, it is. I would buy the whole box set, if it wasn't too expensive...
