rorschach doesn't have a lair... what the hell version of watchmen did you see/read? grant morrison's?
Errrr.... My own version?
Anyway, perhaps the word 'lair' doesn't seem like a good word for Rorschach's hunting grounds, being his alley, I suppose. However, we can make an exception for his victims' homes though.
I kind of assumed he killed criminals in the streets.
Nahh I agree I think he takes them in to the darkest, scariest alley around, and does what rorschach does best....
I think it would be great if "Rorschach's Journal" is a stop-motion horror/action/mystery film, like how he stalks his victims back to his lair and kills them with grotesque methods unimaginable. Reminds me of the Dexter series, by the way.
As much as I love Watchmen and I love stop motion, I really don't see the 2 working together. Wrong material.
I guess what I would like best is if they fleshed out the whole book of Under the Hood in to a full series, as you often get those sorts of programmes about people's lives. I know they kind of did it on TotBF dvd, but I would prefer something more detailed. But again all this feels fundamentally wrong as I really don't think that Watchmen should be given the franchise treatment. It is like the dodgey Treasure Island sequels, or the Dracula sequel, as I regard Watchmen as a classic in it's own right, my views are LEAVE THE CLASSIC ALONE!!!
