You know what you doing, tbone. All your Bay are belong to us.
My uni censors our internet to bits so I can't download stuff any more. Well, not unless I go over to the pub and use their WiFi - super slow at an average 10kb/s, but worth it for Watchmen.
I'm interested in Mr Ex's list - perhaps they're counted as part of the Black Freighter scenes, but is there anything to indicate me some Bernie's?

I'm curious about the "Shattering and Miraculous" scene, #42. Offhand I can't recall what that is. Then again, I haven't checked back with the Director's Cut either. The part where Laurie shatters Manhattan's glass palace on Mars and Dr. Manhattan comments on how he has changed his views of human life. You know. That part.

Reading that chapter list, I just kept thinking "This really is gonna be a mess, isn't it?"
I'll enjoy it as a fan. But as a film...I think it's going to be a mess.

Didn't take them long to start packing up the movie any way they can. They were probably playing Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon when they thought up that one.... You know, Wachowski's to McTeigue to Alan Moore adap to Snyder Should be obvious to the average consumer.

Pre-ordered it on Amazon.com for only $32.99 (no shipping cost)!
Although, I have to admit: I fucking HATE the Pirate logo. What the hell were they possibly thinking?! They could have done a million things to advertise this cut has TotBF on it without destroying the beautiful smiley!
(sigh) Oh well. [/rant]

7 segments? I didn't expect that many segments to the film. That leaves about 10 or so minutes of extra live action footage which I assume is all Bernies and maybe and extra Ozy scene or 2. Not sure if it'll be brilliant or a mess. That 7th segement is located in what looks like an awkward spot in between the final fight between Ozy, Rorschach and Night Owl and the Destruction of NYC. I'm guessing it ends right as we see The Bernies looks up and see the explosion forming.
Oh, some users on IMDB are posting that some areas have already received the Ultimate Cut. We'll see if that's true for the rest of us...

That last scene is where the Bernies realize they have the same name.
I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing a familiar figure (namely mine) trot past Young Bernie as he finishes the comic. My going past him is his cue to get up, shove the comic and Old Bernie who asks him his name and you know the rest.

The woman who runs this site picked it up at Best Buy: http://www.veidt.com/I look forward to hearing what people think of it. I don't have the cash right now to pick it up.

I got it yesterday at Walmart and I liked it. The new Bernie scenes were short but cool to see.

Without details, this is a claim anyone can make.
Some folks do have the thing though. There's already a video at youtube of someone opening the set. From it I learned that it says The End Is Nigh on the back of the box and there's a bloody clock on an inside panel.
Now if someone would put up the Bernie scenes....

Well details obviously mean spoilers but what specifically do you want to know, having already seen TOTBF. End credits are longer cause they include TOTBF, after Leonard Cohen's First We Take Manhattan, Rescue Mission plays. What is cool, is how the camera zooms into the comic panels when Bernie opens it up to read, to go into the cartoon.

Just a few quick questions
1. Whats the running time?
2. Are there any additional scenes that were not included in the Directors Cut
3. Does this have any extras?
Thanks

1. My dvd player said 3hrs. 24mins just as the end credits were about to come up. 2.Other than the bernie scenes, no. Bernie tells Rorschach to f off, and its funny cause bernie turns to the other bernie and when he turns back rorschach is still there in his face. the knottops call bernie shortbus as he leaves. 3. spec. feat. dvd has the journals and those other vids, film dvd only has separate commentary from zack and dave.
Menu music is "Edward Blake -The Comedian", but I only put it in once, so not sure if it changes. Plus I dont have the directors cut dvd so i dont know if thats how it is on that one.

The director's cut does a collage for each character while playing "Edward Blake - The Comedian." I think it's best we classify that as the Watchmen theme music, not "Tenement Rescue," or whatever it was called.

Okay, is the Bernies discovering they have the same first name scene in there?
