The production team give us a closer look at movie props and “easter eggs” in this month’s behind-the-scenes video journal.

Wow, the blog hit a day early. And on a non-English-speaking site, no less. Quite interesting.

I see that they included the "How Sick is Dick?" headline. That's some attention to detail there.

Also, I see that we get our first shot of Janey, complete with the beer mug. She looks great.

Oh, that Veidt and his 80's hair. :).

The fact that "How Sick is Dick?" is there speaks volumes. That's one of the details you have to squint for in the novel, and Nixon's illness isn't part of the story, so it's inclusion is a good sign.

Is that the first time a woman buys Jon a beer? That isn't the Bestiary, but...

Nice to see Hollis' status...and is that the "nesting owls" beside it?

Interesting to see how they've taken the angle of Sally living in the past and run with it, with all the trophies, headlines, etc.

Gotta love Bernie Jr's updated 80's coat.

Looks nice. I like the quick glimpses of Janey, Silhouette kissing the nurse, and the grappling gun. Hopefully this will be the kind of movie you want to analyze frame-by-frame.

SHIT! NOT WORKING!

Somebody please upload it to anywhere (probably not possible at this point)!

Can somebody tell me why the video is just a blank green screen but I can still hear the audio?

Wow. There's a lot to take in in that one. I loved the little behind-the-scenes bit with Rorschach's grappling gun. Also, it looked like they'd actually printed the Tales of the Black Freighter art into the comic book Bernie's holding, but I couldn't tell for sure.

Also, Veidt on Forbes = Sweet.

This is getting me reeeeally optimistic about the movie. The little details seem like they'd be some of the easiest things to leave out, and I'm really glad that so many are being kept intact.

Glad to finally see Silhouette in there too.

Great stuff. I loved seeing Mothman.

What's Blake doing in "Kraven the Hunter" garb?

Does anyone else love that they've basically shown us everything we had wanted to see in the trailers, so we don't have constantly search these blogs for images? I like sitting back and enjoying them.

Great Rorschach stunt, by the way.

This could be completely unintentional... but did anyone else notice that at the explosion at the end (the molotov cocktail from the trailer, I believe) ... that if you slow it down, the last two people you see consumed by the flames look one hell of a lot like the Hiroshima lovers?

If you listen closely under the part where Jimmy Chow is talking about Snyder being a "visionary," during the shot where Snyder's holding the rifle you can hear him explaining to Jeffrey Dean Morgan that scene during the Keene Riots where the Comedian is like, "We're protecting them from themselves!" Another little cool thing I noticed.
