Didn't someone say there's more in this than was shown at ComiCon? I imagine they've also worked on the footage too.

That's very, very possible. In fact, I'm almost certain there are at least a couple of shots in there that I don't at all recall from the showing at SDCC.

I think they have. If you watch the shot of Manhattan's hand grabbing at Veidt in Karnac, it looks far more realistic than it did in the Scream footage.

Also, whoever mentioned it earlier (the Topic Review doesn't scroll down far enough for me to find the user name) - I looked at the footage more closely and I am 100% sure the old man opening the door is Hollis, not Moloch. They are clearly different actors. Speaking of Moloch, I think he looks perfect, almost exactly like the graphic novel. Since Rorschach has him in the fridge, we might get that, "Can I get out the fridge?" "No." exchange. :D

Also, is it just me or does the blood trail that runs down the Comedian's badge look pretty fake when it all of a sudden stops obeying the laws of gravity and pools into that lovely droplet? I realize this is a very nitpicky complaint; I just think if they can make Dr. Manhattan look real they can at least do a blood trail right.

I also think it was a very cool decision to have the camera keep following the Owlship when it crashes into the cliff, so that by the end the shot is upside down. Awesome. Finally, before I use the word "also" so much it becomes the most noticeable aspect of this post, I cannot get over how great Patrick Wilson looks as Dan.

Further observations to come if I find any worthy of posting. Sorry that so many of you are having problems viewing it; I wish I could help but I have absolutely no idea how to convert the file and upload it whilst getting past iTunes' stupid restrictions (especially since it's free). Somebody please figure this out!

I posted a cap of him.

There could be some invisible grease from a fingerprint, or a warp in the button's surface causing the blood to pool there. I'm just saying it's not beyond the realm of possibility that it would act that way.

I'm good until he takes his glasses off, and then the illusion fades.

Can't DL from work. A million thanks for the screencaps.

Dan looks great. The Owlsuit in the closet is great. It's like his "closet full of old memories", with the costume and other bits and pieces. I love it.

Digging Janey and her earrings. She's still a MILF, but she's aging more noticeably every day.

Is that Sally with "spots in her eyes"? They even kept that?

This is fantastic.

Tangential comment, but I cannot not feel giddy when I notice that the fans' reactions (which started quite ferociously on the "It can't be done!" camp - and which, as far as comic book adaptations go, usually are complaints about all the stuff that's left out or modified) in Watchmen's case are almost unanimously on the "They even kept that?" side.

This will be grand.

That's got to be young Walter... at what point is he out in the snow? Is this the cigarette to eye scene?

This footage has me WAY more hopeful than the new trailer! Amazing. That shot of Silk Spectre rubbing her eyes...!!!

There was some earlier released footage, the G4 reel, I believe, that showed young Walter and the bullies in the alley, with snow.

This may be my favourite assembly of footage so far, but damn, I'm not so optimistic about how they seem to treat Rorschach's characterization of Adrian as gospel. The aging looks alright, but he's also startingly fey.

The shot of the earrings and Dr. Manhattan is especially beautiful.

This is so epic.

The scene where NiteOwl II is punching some guy repeatedly, is that after the guy in the bar tells him about Hollis Mason's death? I know he just kind of strangles him in the novel, but you know how Snyder likes to exaggerate a bit.

Cosmetic enchancements that I wouldn't attribute to Veidt. Rorschach describes him utterly vain and "possibly homosexual", which I always thought reflected more upon Rorschach than Adrian. Whether Adrian was actually gay or not in the GN didn't seem to have much bearing on the story, but here it seems to have been underlined and highlighted (and plucked and moisturized).

I know this is a bit out there and the quality would not be good, but could someone just record it from Itunes on a camera and upload it onto youtube, i desperately need to watch this.

The Veidt screencap where he's looking at the camera reminds me of this:

Like an exact recreation of the old leaked Comicon footage? :D
