Quote:
In the midst of life we are in death: of whom may we seek for succour, but of thee, O Lord, who for our sins art justly displeased? Yet, O Lord God most holy, O Lord most mighty, O holy and most merciful Saviour, deliver us not into the bitter pains of eternal death.
Thou knowest, Lord, the secrets of our hearts; shut not thy merciful ears to our prayer; but spare us, Lord most holy, O God most mighty, O holy and merciful Saviour, thou most worthy judge eternal, suffer us not, at our last hour, for any pains of death, to fall from thee.

Book of Common Prayer used exclusively by the Episcopal Church.
Is this taken from the original book?
Hard for me to picture that he is an Anglican. From my perspective, his cynicism, aggresive behavior and strange sense of humor made him an every-bit Roman Catholic.
I find it's funny to picture everyone's theology. Adrian could be very much a practical Communist like Stalin or Mao, Daniel might straying between a Lutheran and a presbyterian calvinist (I can't see the reason that he is a Jewish), and Rorschach seems trying so hard to become the Jesus of himself.
Update: I got further interesting discoveries, the website:
http://www.comicbookreligion.com/?start ... n=Catholicindicated that Blue Beetle and Captain Atom are both Catholic, high Catholicism density detected!
