Haven't been to any festivals. :o( But I have been to my fair share of gigs. Don't have any time for looking out for bands and such these days, but I used to go regularly to venues in South East England.

Some gigs I remember being at:
Madness
Police
10,000 Maniacs
ABC
Teardrop Explodes
Buzzcocks
New Order
Joy Division
Can
Smiths
Higsons
Frank Zappa
Miles Davis
Bill Bruford
Ian Drury and the Blockheads
Elvis Costello
Altered Images
Devo
Genesis
Cocteau Twins
Prefab Sprout

No wonder my ears still squeak. ;0)

I just thought I would say that if anyone is going to see City and Colour at the HMV forum in June I envy you horribly. Horribly.

My drum corps is all set to play at the San Francisco Pride Parade on the weekend of June 27th. Any SoCal members here who'd care to meet up?

ahhh I know! I saw them last year (guessing you were at Sonisphere last year too? hehe) they're playing a gig near my university in October so hopefully I'll be going!

Also in a few weeks I should be seeing Jesse Malin in London (chance of music style there I know haha) a few people I've met through previous other band tours are playing in the band so it's going to be extra special :)

No I couldn't go last year :( but roll on this year!
I saw them at the Relentless Garage in London this year, and then at a special album release show at a local pub/bar thing the day after and got to meet them afterwards. Was so amazing, like they were playing in my living room

Sounds like you had a good time. I wish I could have gone, but this year I am going to Sonisphere, which I am really, really psyched for.

The Golden Gods was good last night though. Finally got to see Evile live :D

I'll be playing tomorrow evening at the Torchlight Parade in Seattle. Anyone else gonna be there?
