OK... screw cute. Let's call the hand.

I said that Watchmen is a movie.

Lil' Bernie, or whatever his name is, in an effort at sarcasm, said that there was also a movie with that title meandering about. Sure enough, as this site attests, such a movie exists... as we all well know, since this site has been committed to following said film for some years now. We knkow the site exists.

Which wasn't the point of my post or an intelligent response to it in my opinion. Rather than say, "you, sir, are a friggin' moron." I said what I said. And I'm trying so hard to be the good guy because, too often, I seem to come off as the asshole (what can I say? I'm an asshole... it just comes naturally)."

But I'm trying to change. Please. Help me change.

I'm trying to be the good guy. Really.

But, somewhere down deep, I'd rather be the smartass that smells of pussy... than the pussy that smells of dick. Oh well.

Reality is kinda cool. Really.

Actually you said Watchmen was a comic. But I'm sure that's what you meant. Yeah the sarcasm by Lil' Bernie was kind of a miss but then you responded with more sarcasm and I took it and ran.

Now what were we talking about..? Something about Pandas?

I don't care what anyone says. That comment is cute because it's sarcastic and incorporates Pandas.

(Although a Panda's cuteness is debateable in my opinion)

........seriously what the hell were we talking about...

I actually thought the worst editing in this movie was during Veidt's interview, with the blimp heading toward the WTC (did they really have to show that, by the way?). At one point it's close to it, but in the next shot, it's farther away.

Also, in the director's cut, after Rorschach knocks out the cop, the other cop fires at him, and all of a sudden Rorschach disappears....WTF movie?? To quote The Nostalgia Critic, "Transitions are your friend!"

I still don't see why people find that offensive, or some kind of allusion to 9/11. By contrast, the WTC is still standing after Veidt's bomb destroys Times Square (and actually that part of the skyline is featured most throughout the film). It's a blimp for Christ's sake. Not a zeppelin or an airplane, a freakin' blimp. Get over it.

Jeez, take it easy. I didn't say I personally got offended or upset over it, I'm just saying when I see a flying craft going toward the Twin Towers, I can't help but be reminded of 9/11. I think anyone would; it's human nature. I also think perhaps he should have EDITED it better so that the blimp was shown on the other side of the Towers instead of a seemingly backward jump-cut, not just because of any 9/11 connections but also for the sake of aesthetic consistency.

I thought the editing of the TC sucked. You could tell where they were forced to cut for time. IMO the editing in the DC is much better and although a longer movie, it flows better then the TC.
