Ghondar suggested a few days ago on facebook that we should have a thread for the SDCC here. I figure it can be used to talk about any news coming out of there that isn't worthy of its own thread and thought this would be a good thing to start with.

Nerd slapdown!!!

Read The Mighty Thor #5 ;)

I see your TRON legacy and raise it with a RED Trailer:

Also: Brad Pitt confirmed to star in Max Brook's "World War Z" movie adaptation. That's some serious epic shit.

Speaking of which... http://www.geeksaresexy.net/2010/07/23/ ... y-trailer/

And even better, they're screening Tommy Wiseau's new epic, The House That Drips Blood on Alex. http://www.atom.com/funny_videos/drips_ ... ex_teaser/

He is truly a visionary of our time.

Tons more pictures, but what really caught me is the exact reason they're at Comic-Con. Worshiping false idols? Seriously? Get the hell out of here, Fred Phelps.

Anyway, four new characters for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnKGiQYuOKs

Incidentally, we have a Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 thread, but it's only like four posts long.

Edit: While googling that story, I came up with this.

I'm going to save that image to my computer for further analysis at a later date.

Me too, actually. I've only seen two episodes and the movie.

All of which I enjoyed immensely.

I think they're right, but if anyone wants to turn up a second source, I wouldn't complain.

Man stabbed with pen during fight.

He should have used Avada Kedavra.

Edit: Bus trip to Pacey-Con '11. Who's with me?
