Yeah, but it's pretty terrible at the moment, Abnett and Lanning have zero understanding of the characters, it's like they've never even looked at a New Mutants book in their life. The only one they get half-right is Magik, and she's being moved to Uncanny.

Curi, I object to this merge, as my thread was for the comment and critique on the cosplay of others, whereas this thread was about forumers own cosplay costumes and ideas

Well, not necessarily. It seems to me that we could discuss our own cosplay ideas just as easily as we could discuss those of others. Furthermore, by pointing out why some outfits work and others don't, that might be just as useful for ideas and planning as direct feedback.

to be honest, the thread was a bit niche before, and a niche thread in a small forum has a bleak prognosis. this at least gives the thread a bit more purpose.

This year at school spirit week we had a "Hero/Villain" and "Character" day. It's a it odd because those two kinda blend together. I was Dr. House (for the former) and Doc Brown (for the latter), I'll post pictures if requested. I role-played the shit out of the House one, walking around with a cane and a limp all day (gave me a good excuse to show up late to class). Both assembled with less then a week's notice and the Doc Brown outfit actually required alot of work. I got kinda upset because everyone thought I was Albert Einstein on "Character" day even though I was walking around with a fucking name-tag and future glasses. Interesting enough, this girl dressed up as Eve from the Bible that day, not realizing that... yeah...

Yeah, it was a particularly easy outfit to assemble and unlike the Doc Brown one alot of people got it.

It wasn't a convention actually, twas spirit week at high school. The day's theme was Hero/Villain, so I went as one of my favorite anti-heroes
