Nice find, I can clearly see something there.

But do you really think there was any content in there other than:

A) Hughie whining too much about whining too much.

B) Hughie getting scolded for whining too much.

C) Drug dealers being drug dealers.............and doing nothing of importance while at it.

And to top it off, the shittiest art in any Boys book.

Highland laddie was weak, and I agree the art was shitty. In a way I'm okay with the Boys ending soon, thanks to arcs like this I realized the writing was on the wall.

That being said... WHY IS SCALPED ENDING SOON?!?!?! Image

The art went shit as soon as Darick moved to only doing covers, but I will admit the art has been getting gradually better ever since,

Might as well enjoy it !

I don't think Butcher will live through this, you can see it in his face that he does not want the alliance, yet I don't think he is as much of a threat as Homelander's army, so it makes me curious how all this will turn out.

I'm guessing everyone except Hughie will die.

I thought you still had to read the second volume ?

Guess I was wrong.

Anyways, yeah, it's said how this came to an end, specially when Whedon got one arc, ONE FUCKING ARC !

Yet it was one of the most amazing ones in the entire saga, better than many of Vaughan's.

At least it was a really fun arc. I'm calling it now, the Runaways will have their own solo series within a year. They have been popping up in several books across the marvel U, and BKV is returning to comics...

Why does everyone call it a return ? He's barely been gone for a couple of years.

ANYWAYS, which books have The Runaways been appearing ?

I don't think it's a good idea to keep them in the same timeline as other mainstream Marvel characters, it's gonna bite Marvel later in the ass when continuity has to be accounted for, The Runaways actually AGE.

Yeah, but it's still a return... you can return to a room you left a few minutes earlier...

Daken (last month) and Avengers Academy (march).

Decided to embark on this journey of 1.337 pages !

Already am 86 pages in and I'm hooked !

So far, great, great sense of humor and incredibly charming characters, it's easy to see why it's gotten such a good reception.

Yes!

That's the cover I have. The "Out From Boneville", one. I guess you're reading the massive collected version? Where in the story are you? Some day I hope to finish that series. I just need to read the last one. I think my library carries them, but in the kids section, and as silly as this will sound, I'd feel self conscious taking it out. Plus, if it's in the kids section, it's probably the colorized version which I don't like.

Anyways, read these two recently:

I started with Nine Stories, but I think I should have started with Franny and Zooey since it established the world a few of the short stories took place in. Neither of them are bad, although the character Zooey is really insufferable, and I guess I found they weren't up to the standards he set with The Catcher In The Rye.

I knew this choice would make you and Curi happy , decided to postpone reading From Hell after Runaways (even though I was loving the shit out of that comic) since Bone looked like something light that could be read quickly.

Right now Fone just found Phoney and both are trying to get by at Thorne and Granma's place, later they will go to town and see if they can find Smiley !
