xeno is the prefix for change.
No it isn't.
I'm just relaying what my friend mark tells me.
he acts like the expert so I believe him.
gullible me.
I think you may have just misheard him, because -morph is the suffix for change. xeno- is the prefix for alien or foreign.
anyway that image from the previous page is just Giger mural, Giger IS working on set design, doing murals for the movie.
assuming Ridley Scott and Damon Lindeloff have been telling the trtuh, the movie is set in the same universe as Alien, the movie has "Alien DNA" (whether they mean literally or figuratively we don't know for sure) but there will be no "xenomorphs".
however on the chance they are lying, there may very well be aliens of some sort, we have seen SJs several times in the trailer, and there is no way that they will be giving everything away in the trailer, therefore there must be something that we haven't seen that needs the reveal of SJs to cover it up, which means it must be big, so xenomorphs are a possibility.
there is speculation that this movie explains the artificial origin of xenomorphs, we see the urn things in the trailer which are speculated to be artificial versions of eggs, and that the constantly evolving Aliens evolve to self-reproduce after or during the events of the movie.
there is speculation that the mutant guy in the trailer is in the process of mutating into the first xenomorph.
the fact there is an android on the crew could be to do with explaining the biomechanical nature of the xenomorph, perhaps they learn from both biology and technology to become the perfect creature.
we could speculate all day, but I doubt they will have given us enough information to go on yet, perhaps we may get some more clues from viral marketing, or from TV spot footage closer to release, but i think it's too early for now.
