AYB and I were talking on facebook yesterday about how we couldn't believe just how bad this looked from every possible angle.

Literally.

On a technical level, the trailer looks as if it's the first time Michael Bay's ever picked up a camera and to top it off, the dialogue is simply atrocious as well.

I think this is yet another "butchered beyond recognition" type of script, I feel I'm on the same boat that TMD was in the matter of how appealing the subject is, unfortunately, the trailer indeed did fuck everything up.

I´m just suprised at the fact that there´s no hot piece of ass actress just for eye candy in the mix, 360 degree pan shots, and only one explosion. THis is fucking unheard...


As to those who expected bigs things, this is Bay being artsy. If anything it´s a nice adult comedy. At most...

The tone of the trailer is really off. Like, weird, wacky things are happening, yet the trailer is mostly serious. I'd like to see a trailer that is cut more to what is happening on screen. Lighter in tone, with a much lighter song choice for the soundtrack.

Dude,past experience proves your point wrong. That is why I´m suprised. He seems to be sticking to that "This is my Fargo!" idea. Yeah, it´s gonna have action, but the dude is underselling it. That shit is so not Michael Bay that it must have been dificult to him. Take a tooth out without painkillers dificult.
