The first trailer/teaser will also be premiering before Prometheus.

Wow. This looks promising.
I'm legitly putting this on my most anticipated list on principle alone.
the pictures don't hurt either.
But if the trailer for Dredd doesn't break on the web or something before Prometheus hits theaters, I'ma be all kinds of ticked. I shall then proceed to let everyone on the internet know I'm all kinds of ticked. Because it makes sense to do that.

Well excuse me ! Mister Sensitive :| !

Already saw it, not sure if I'm convinced by Jamie Foxx in the role, but maybe this could be his comeback.

New trailer (which has not been taken down yet): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUdM9vrCbow

As far as movie trailers go...I'm not feeling it. While Johnny Cash lends himself to the western genre, James Brown doesn't. Some of the trailer's beats are kind of corny.

I agree. But if anything I'm still way stoked.

Love it.

I dig the trailer. It looks like as per usual, Tarantino will deliver a surprising and entertaining film. But t3cii, I haven't read the script, do you think the trailer reflects the tone set by the script? Per descriptions I've heard here and there, I thought Tarantino was going to go full on serious this time.

I think it does reflect the tone set by the script, but the comedy beats are bit too much, in my opinion. Plus the whole "Django is off the chain" tag line. I don't know. People seem to argue, though, that this is just to reflect the movie's blaxploitation roots. But no, it's not a full on serious story, it's still in the spirit of something like Basterds. It has its serious moments, but it's still mostly what you would expect from Tarantino.

How effective Foxx is depends on his delivery of this line from the script "....when I say stop, you plant roots."

New international trailer. I liked the first one better, it had a better energy to it, but this one is stil pretty cool and leads me to believe the film will be awesome.

I like this trailer better, and I think this is the trailer we should have first got.
