Seriously, though, they're probably gonna make him British. They've already done it for the Avengers cartoon and Marvel vs. Capcom.

Yeah, that wouldn't surprise me at all. I actually wouldn't be shocked if marvel brought Ellis on to do the voice, because (as of now) he's the only person to officially play Rocket.

Mace Windu?

Han Solo?
Uncle Owen?
Lando?

Just to name a few...

It was just a joke, Brooky. Calm down.

That said, pretty much everyone in the Empire is British.

I think the implication is that Coruscant is where the "British" accent comes from, everywhere else is US accent, except Mandalore which is a New Zealand accent.

A retroactive explanation if I ever saw one.

sure, the new zealand bit definitely is, but i don't think it's coincidence that all Imperials, and Obi Wan sounded English right from the first movie.

Hmmm, a british sounding empire fighting farmers and people who want smaller government...

I think there's a sprit of '76 in Star Wars... 1776 to be exact

I doubt it's coincidence that Star Wars was made around the time of the bicentennial either

I've really been trying to fancast Rocket Raccoon the last few days and it suddenly hit me, with the voice I picture... there is a guy who I think could play the role well, and that I know would be up for a nerd movie.

While at first I wan´t "feeling the love" for this movie, right now I´m sad that it´s pretty much the only chance being taken.Truth be told another year for two more movies wouldn´t hurt. Shame that they aren´t capitalizing on the Hulk love ,and still are dissing Ant-Man.Shield is a whole other issue.

Let´s se how this one works out.I´m curiously interested...

after the James Gunn stuff once seen people suggest Michael Rooker. MPH would be good too though.

I really hope Adam Warlock is in this movie because it's been told time and time again that only he and Drax have the raw power to take down Thanos, You could argue that Hulk will have the raw power, but I hope warlock and Drax get their time in the sun.

I know it's been pretty much common knowlege for a few weeks, but now it's official.

James Gunn is bringing Rocket Mother Fucking Raccoon to the big screen.

Yeah.

2013: IM3, Thor:The Dark World.

2014: Captain America: Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy.

2015: Avengers 2

Think it´s a bad bussiness move not to give the Avengers another year of diference and develop either SHIELD, Ant- Man or a new Hulk...

Marvel have 3 release dates booked in 2014, the third being Ant Man, so long as Edgar Wright gets of his arse and makes it.
SHIELD is becoming a TV show,
and Hulk isn't happening ever/any time soon so says Mark Ruffalo.
