ya im cashing this in as my christmas present from my awsome grandma lol. so im not really worried about price, shes loaded, and her xmas gifts are usually more than this anyway. (wow i sounded like an ass saying that, its hard to explain...)
i think im kind of leaning towards the lids one, and then the first one from the list.
i would love to get as many opinions as i can.

I hope not. It would just depress me to see eight-year-olds dressing up as a masochistic arsonist with a history of murder.

i would laugh, then i would realize how sad it is
i know the costume compaies are big on superhero costumes, but now that i think about it, not rated-r superhero movies
i was just wondering because it would be great to walk down to my local partyshop and and get a mask, hat and coat

I've remember seeing little Vs running around Halloween '06, and I'm sure we'll be seeing more than a fair share of Heath Ledger Jokers this Halloween... So yeah, Rorschach will be hot item #1 next Halloween, simply because "he's cool".

Rorschach, Nite Owl, Comedian, (possibly) Silk Spectre, and Ozymandias will be in the costume department. I'm sure they'll do a full body suit for Manhattan.

Perhaps Silk Spectre will only be in certain stores... ;)

But honestly, I don't expect a great many of Watchmen costumes. Rorschach's definite, the rest could go either way (in my opinion).

i could see night owl II or ozymandias, or they could make a night owl II belt buckle so its shaped like the moon and everything, that would be freakin' sweet.

Can't believe I overlooked this topic!

Right so i'm simply in need of the mask now have the entire outfit otherwise, perfect trenchcoat, hat, jacket, pants, gloves.

Hypercolor...food for thought, I must say!

I hear that American Apparel plans on releasing heat sensitive clothing this year.

The "con", of course, would be the fact that the "blots" would always be by the mouth and nostrils...

What about this kind of thing-- http://www.yatzer.com/postDetails.php?post=1052

Food for thought, none the less!

hah hipster moving clothing now?

Wondering do you have to sew the opaque tights once you get the 3 layers?
And/or cut them down so they fit? :?:

Goodwill opens up in my town next week. My friend and I need to find some purple pinstripe pants. Goodwill best have 'em.

I'm a flapper this year. I was thinking about being Silk Spectre, but I don't have time to get someone to sew th costume. Plus, it's too cold to wear outside. Next year!

Seriously I'm wondering if anyone could help me out and tell me what size nylons or something I need for a mask?

3 layer? 1 black 2 white.

Do I use a sharpie on the last layer?

I don't know about size, but I used 3 layers (1 white 2 black), cut the pattern and was very happy with the result (it does need to be sewn to prevent the edges of the white from folding under or flapping as you move.

Where'd you get them? I'm having trouble finding the right ones every store I go to...

Any suggestions on a specific brand? sew the bottom edges?

It took several tries for me to make an acceptable mask, so I bought mine at a nearby overstock store. I also got some at Wal-Mart. As far as sewing goes all that really requires sewing is the top white layer. You may also want to sew up the holes where the legs were if you plan on removing your hat ;). As far as type goes I paid no attention and had no trouble with any of the tights I bought.

The mask came out really well, you should make a few more and sell them :P (if you do let me know cause i'm lazy)
