WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Even though they should have won 24-10 due to fumbling an interception, a deadly personal foul penalty, and 2 missed field goals, somehow they pulled a win out of the jaws of defeat. Historically the Giants never win this type of game! :D

Bloody Englich TV did not show the games. Probably best not as my second team is the Packers (I am a Bears fan normally).

Sounds like it might have been an exciting game, dispite being won in overtime (which is a shit way to decide a game).

Grats to the Giants... Guess I am going to support them over the Pats in the Superbowl.

I'm a Packers fan.

Congrats and good luck against the Pats.

That was truly one of the worst games I've ever watched. It was like a match of who could screw up more. The Packers couldn't do anything and with how poorly they played, the Giants should've won by 35.

The game was riveting since it was see-saw all the way through, and there were many interceptions, missed field goals, fumbles, etc., which had me screaming at the TV and raising my heart-rate to 160.

As for overtime stinking... it does when the first team that gets the ball drives down 50 yards and kicks a field goal, yes (in this case the Giants intercepted). You could either change to the college route of playing an entire quarter, or maybe have a requirement for each team to control the ball once in order to match points. My own idea is to have it be the first team to score 6 points, so it would create a greater incentive for the teams to go for a touchdown instead of a "cheap" overtime field goal.

Whoever winds up at the Super Bowl, I'm sure it'll be a great game.

Me, I'll stay tuned to the NBA and the Trailblazers.

Thank you, waylayer.

Now you all understand just how closely I've been focusing on the only major sports team in my hometown.

Autumn 1980. Cherry Hill, NJ. People asked us if we were there for the World Series.
(Philadelphia were in it, apparently).

Hehe

No. We were there because the town had one of the best indoor skateparks then.

"Really?!" and off they walked, proudly.

Vikings whumped the Giants in regular season. I'm just sayin... :o

Seriously, good for them. The Green Bay game was a good game to watch. I think they'll have their work cut out for them in the Super Bowl, though.

Indeed, and they came through! They smashed Brady's teeth in and bullied him, which is what was needed to be done to rattle him and control their offense. My heart-beat was going at 100-110 per minute for most the game (no joke). After the 4th down incomplete pass I ran down the street and yelled out the top of my lungs. A few seconds later I heard yells coming from all the apartments that lined the street. And then people started yelling out their windows at me, or telling me to shut up (I'm not sure). All I know is now I have no voice, I scared the hell out of my guests, and I won't be able to sleep tonight.

Eliiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!

I was rooting for NY being a New Yorker myself. Great game. I had a feeling the Patriot's overconfidence would be a big factor.

I'm a jets fan... so obviously i'm wasn't very happy when i learned our cross town rivals and the team from the city i despise everything about, were about to duke it out for the biggest game all year. But i hate the pats so much that i considered myself a giants fan for a day. and i am so happy that they won. Awesome game, that scramble by Manning and the ensuing catch by Tyree was the play of the game... unbelievable. congrats to the giants

I am surprised... pleasantly, sure. Eli and his team worked very hard for a win, and it showed. How many, five sacks on Brady? Crazy... and a wildcard team coming up and doing that. Nice.

I'll be honest: When the time came to watch the Super Bowl, I just couldn't bring myself to care. I wanted the Giants to win, but for no logical or informed reason.

I offer congratulations to the Giants and their fans, though I can't relate to what it was like watching the game.
