That song is amazing, as well as the rest of The Craft soundtrack! I've rebought that cd many times over the years lol.

I listen to a lot of Muse, punk rock (the most recent Alkaline Trio is a big favorite), A Static Lullaby, and Every Time I Die. Although I have a very wide range on my IPod, I even listen to The Carpenters lol.

Allegro: The First Complete Recording by Rogers & Hammerstein

Essentially, it's the most innovative musical you've never heard of.

I can't even remember the last album I bought. I think I've finally reached the age where I can no longer listen or get excited about new music. Two Simpsons quotes come to mind:

“Who needs new music? We all know rock music attained perfection in 1974. It’s a scientific fact.”

-Homer Simpson

"I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now, what I’m with isn’t it, and what is it seems weird and scary to me." - Abraham Simpson

Anyone who tells you I listened to Taylor Swift while playing Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-earth II this afternoon is lying.

Keep in mind when I was quoting Homer Simpson I wasn't saying I don't think there is no new music coming out that is good. I'm sure there is tons of great stuff out there. I just have no interest in hearing it. Music doesn't excite me the way it once did when I was younger. I can't be bothered to search for new music. That's not to say I don't listen to music anymore. I do. But it's usually the music I listened to in my youth. There's a nostalgia that comes with listening to music. I have nostalgia for the 80's and 90's. I don't have nostalgia for the 2000's.

You know that Abe Simpson quote isn't complete. I forgot the end of that quote:

"It will happen to you!". And it will. You kids think you're going to keep rockin' forever? 5 years from know you'll notice a decline in the number of albums you purchase. 10 years from now you'll be driving in your car, singing to "Umbrella", wondering just why they don't make songs like they did in the good old days.

I know, that song is way too girly for a man like me. Now if you'll excuse me I need to get back to my Taylor Swift.

Citizen Cope - Citizen Cope

Live Shit: Binge & Purge: Mexico City - Metallica

I recommend anyone that reads this to give Citizen Cope, who performs a mix of Rock, Alternative and a touch of Hip Hop, a listen to...

My favorite in his Citizen Cope album is Appetite (For Lightnin' Dynamite): http://new.music.yahoo.com/citizen-cope ... e--1991830

Not so much anymore, but I prefer to think of the good old days with their older music lol. In terms of true punk, the new Rancid coming out in June sounds like it's going to be great.

Iron Maiden - Powerslave

I really need to listen to this again. Not sure if I liked it. I don't really like Bruce Dickinson's vocals and he brings the album way down for me. The music was pretty good though.
