On October 22, 2008, and November 7, 2008, Warner Bros. Pictures debuted teaser posters for Watchmen. One poster shows shows the iconic image of Edward Blake aka The Comedian falling from his high-rise apartment to the street below with his blood-stained smiley badge in the foreground. It also contains the tagline, “Justice is coming to all of us.” The second poster shows masked vigilante Rorschach walking down the center of a New York City street in the pouring rain and contains the tagline, “The city is afraid of me.
